Jist curious if I put together a good deal. . All total including taxes and shipping my T3 hunter 300wsm with 2 clips,leupold vari x ||| 3.5x10.5x50mm with optilock bases and rings is $1400 Canadian. I think that's not bad.

Everything is brand new. Not seconds. I got the gun at a Canadian Tire in Kenora Ontario. The scope on eBay. And the mounts from a gunsmith in thunder bay ontario.

x2! ...... A nice little VXII in 2x7 in lower, lightweight mounts would work alot better

Should still be 7.5 lbs scoped, which isn't too bad for a .300WSM. I wouldn't go any lighter with it... I had the same setup in a .300wm and it had more recoil than my 8.25 lb .338WM does...

Morg, one suggestion I''ll make is to get a good recoil pad. The Pachmyr Decelerator works well, as does the Limbsaver. The factory one is a puck...

Probably a good idea. I'm also looking for a good sling. The slingsticks look interesting. Anyone used them? Or would a sling and a primos trigger stick be better? Thanks for the comments. Keep em coming
