Bartok5 would be the man to ask this of...
I thought someone brought in a bunch of those Troy retro rifles.

Excuse my complete ignorance... But that little stamped circle in the receiver is enough to scare the techs? Do you see that a lot on homegrown AR's? Fairly novice on the variations of the receivers. I mean I can assemble one on the kitchen table (when the wife is not at home) but no where near as knowledgeable as most on this forum.
I highly doubt that it scares them BUT it gave them an excuse to arbitrarily prohibit and confiscate.
Ya, Rampart did and then the RCMP bullied them into repossessing them.

Ok. I get it. I'll make some phone calls next week with Troy and figure out if that silly circle is on the newer produced USAF rifle. If not maybe I'll grab another C8 upper & figure it out from there.
Jiffx2781: Just got through that thread. My head exploded! I've been carrying separate firearms insurance for a few years now. The libs pretty much mandated that imo. Not sure if AR's will go prohib., confiscated or remain restricted but there are a few A1 style rifles I'd like to own.
