How diverce is your handgun 'collection'?

How diverse do you need to be? As long as they go bang at the range you have your "needs" covered.

Now, "wants" are a different animal altogether. I wants one of each and have a good start.......;):D

Glock 17 3.5, M&P both in 9mm. I don't like stockpiling more ammo types than I need to, so I think I've settled on 9mm (at least until I can build a reloading bench when I have more space). I debated selling/trading the M&P in for a second Glock 17, just so I'd have a backup, but then I figured a bit of variety was nice. My first handgun was a XD in .40, but I traded it for the M&P.

I don't shoot enough (or make enough $) to warrant having others in the stable. I shoot my shotgun and Rem 700 LTR too for variety.

If the laws were different, I'd probably have some shorter pistols too, but c'est la vie.

22LR,7.62x25,9mm,.45acp. I was going to stick with one calibre to make it easy but that went right out the window. My next might be a .40 and Im getting a 10mm eventually to make matters and ammo purchasing worse. They're all semi-auto's though. No wheel guns for me,,,,,,,,,,,yet.

9mm and 45acp 1911. I approach things a little differently. I prefer to have 1 gun i love and plan on training on it until ive mastered it. Plus Ive just started casting for 9mm and will be for 45 soon so it makes feeding them cheap.

I would like to get either a cz75b/85 or a norinco p226 in 9mm to mix things up a bit though.

Springfield Arms XD9 (in Olive Drab) and now my GSG 1911 -22. Not many but then I only started last August. HAHAHAH I would like a wheel gun next probably .357 or .44 and then a True 1911 .45 and I would be happy for the time being. OH and possibly a wheel gun in .22LR and .22 magnum (interchangle cylinder style). So many to choose from. So little time! Why did I wait so long.....GROAN!!!!!!! :D

Ill expand to other platforms in the future when funds allow, but for now its 1911's in .22, 9mm, and .45 ACP and 3 variants of sig's in .22 and 9mm

I do like my Sigs....:D Started with a P226 in 9mm for a 'first' pistol, got the Mosquito .22 LR to teach the kids on, then a Ruger GP100 .357 which is just a fantastic revolver and very fun to shoot, came across a Sig 1911 Stainless Carry that is a thing of beauty, and just recently a Sig P220 Equinox in .45 which I hope will be here this week. I expect to round it out with a P229 Elite stainless in .40 S&W next year, and call it a day.....

But, I probably won't be able to help myself!:D

Hmmm, well an Sti hicap .38 super 1911, an SVI hicap .38 super 1911, a Springfield .45 1911, a Kimber .45 1911 and a Ruger .22/45...lol

I don't know about diverse, but I've got a few to tide me over.

Gold Titanium Desert Eagle .50AE
Glock G17 9mm
Glock G20C 10mm

Man..... every time I see this post my mind reads.

"How has divorce affected your hand gun collection"

Time for a shrink?

M

Diverse, no. I'm down to one, my 1911 in .45, the way it should be. I'm a minimalist by nature, so I'm good with it. But I sure miss my Glock, I'd trade 2 1911's for a Glock:stirthepot2:
