how do I buy pistol scope mounts?

I want to put a scope on my Remington XP-100. How do I go about buying rings and a mount? I am a complete newb about this.

Basically, I need to know how to find out if a mount will fit on my XP-100. How do I do this?

Google it, you will find many options, Type in Remington xp 100 scope mount (rings). Lots of options.

I am quite the newb about rings and optics so I am still confused about how a scope mount has anything to do with MOA. The mounts come in 0 and 20 MOA versions.
