How do I search the forum for S&W m&P ?

Try placing a "wildcard" character at the front or rear position of the search string. I use a * to get around the 3 character restriction and while it is not as precise as the exact text it will get you close to what you are looking for.
So when you use this ( *m&p, or m&p* ) it will pick any string of text with the m&p in it. I use this for stuff like *7mm or if you are not sure of the spelling of a word etc.
