Find out how old my Marlin 30/30 is? Iam a shotgun shooter and just wanted to know where to find the serial number. Its a Model 336 R.C.

Open the action and look under the lever on the piece of metal on the underside of the pistol grip. Mine is a 1949 vintage.Google blue book of gun values or marlin.

Like mines a Letter M then 4 numbers.
