How do i

if your not strong enough to tourqe it off by hand and your screwdriver has a hex shaft just put a wrench on the screwdriver shaft while putting a good amount of pressure on the driver and give it a good twist if you can`t do it like that i dont know what to tell ya

Vice down the rifle, with padding. Get a good firm grip and twist. You just need the proper leverage to get to screw, which is more important than brute torque.

I took a huge screwdriver, and put a wrench on it. Had my girlfriend hold the rifle and it took all my strength but it finally came off. Just make sure you are putting enough pressure downwards on the screw as not to strip it.

Tried it with the biggest hex shaft flat head and vice grips I have. I'm lacking proper tools due to recent move... a vice would be helpful, I guess... I'm not impressed with this rifle's furniture. I'll get it eventually.

I sat on my rifle with the stock sticking out between my legs and used the massive flathead screwdriver on a tire iron to unscrew the stock. Easy.

I tired torquing it off with my old man. got fed up and took a saw to it. followed by some vice grips. After fiddling for an hour, I figured my time is worth more than plastic impregnated wood. This sucker is getting a nice factory folder.

Dont put it in a vice

I laid on the ground and put it between my legs - Used a big ass screw driver, came out with minimal effort.

I just remove my butstock today to instal the factory folder i got from wolverine. I just take very big screwdriver, grind the tip for a perfect fit and with the help of a wrench, the stock screw came gently:D

Piece of crap! Just like you i had to saw off the cheap stock and use vise grips to unscrew the thing... I tried everything else but nothing worked.

LOL... Am I the only one who cringed a little when he read this? You really REALLY don't want to slip with that screwdriver.

Fixed stock, not the folding stock.
Tire iron safely surrounded by the stock, no slipping and balls injuring :)
