How do you blue a bayonet on SKS.

I like the look of a black or blued bayonet on an SKS. What steps needed to make it happen. Also I have seen a few SKS with black bayonets. Is that how they were originally?

Step 1) remove hard chroming with acidic chemical (can't remember which kind)
Step 2) cold or hot blue it
Step 2 option B) use paint; be it black tractor exhaust paint or BBQ paint. Or if cost is no option, Armacoat.

If you find a bunch of black bayonets let me know I could use a few. I was thinking on putting on a black tapco(crapco) stock on with a black bayonet. Just looking to go tacticool I have been a purist with the SKS for to long.

I got 2 in Freddy, N.B. Have liked them since I first seen them. The bayo looks more like a,, bayo!!
