how do you carry your .22 rounds?

i usually hunt with a Browning BL-22, hold 15 in the tube, i rarely end up shooting more than 10. if i do feel the need to carry extra, its most likely to get thrown in my back pocket.

You rarely fire more than ten rounds?? Are you game hunting or varmint hunting? Ten rounds hardly seems worth the trip.

Just wondering were it is you go that you have such epic gopher shooting? Where I live know there is very little gophers and many pissy land owners.

I would love to be able to make all day expeditions like you but can't find places like this.

Catch .22

Check "Marble Arms" for their new "Catch .22" product, I bought two of them, they hold 50 rnds of .22 in ten vertical groups of five, plastic with sliding top lid and belt clip, you will like it.

Catch .22

you will do better than I did, as I bought them before our dollar hit .90 cents, I think they cost $14.00 USD or so plus shipping and the customs hit me with a fee as they are firearms related, sheesh being Canadian costs to much.

I use the CCI boxes.

BTW, I believe there are some CCI boxes that hold the ammo more securely by the nose so it doesn't rattle around. I think its the 50 rd boxes of pistol match ammo, perhaps others too.

i was talking when i go rabbit hunting, i could shoot more, but limit is 6 bunnies per day.

It all makes sense now.

When it comes to good gopher turf. You have to work at it. It has taken myself and my shooting buddies several years to gain the trust of enough land owners to gain access to hundreds of acres. Some trips are slow but the early spring trips never disappoint.
