How do you change the orientation of the forward sling mount on Benelli M4?

There is a big snap ring right in front of the sling plate, it has 2 little "holes" with a split in between them.
You remove the snap ring with a pair of snap ring pliers (needle nose will work but its a PITA, snap ring pliers are like needle noses but the very ends split apart a teeny bit).
If you do not have a snap ring plier, you can use the needle noses with a small awl or something to pry one of the sides out of the channel once they are split apart a bit. Then just continue lifting the snap ring out of the channel all the way around till it's off.
The plate itself just moves forwards, rotate 90 degrees in whichever direction you like, then put the snap ring back on. It's easier to put back on, use the needle noses to spread it apart and use 2 fingers to put it flush against the sling plate, then release pressure on the pliers and it will sit back into the little channel.

Yep, they just got them back in stock, got mine in on friday!
Great to have a +1 extension, they have a little polymer block installed so they will fit 5 rounds of 3" and 6 of the 2-3/4" shells. Not too shabby!
