How do you clean up your milsurp brass on public land?

I use a big magnet from Princess Auto. Put a plastic bag over the end and pull the cases off when at the garbage can.
 
Pretty much need to tarp the area.

I dropped a full round in the grass while clearing my rifle , after shooting my buck last season and for the life of me do you think i could find a single round in the grass even though it fell strait down by my feet..

nope could not find the damn thing at all.

its crazy how stuff disappears into grass esp if its kind of tall grass.
