I have a charge master that i have been using and i drained all the powder but there is alot of residue left in the despenser and this is after i used a can of compressed air and tried to wipe it down just wondering if anybody had any ideas

I bought a used RCBS and what i cleaned it with was a Kleenex and some Rubbing Alcohol
(put on Kleenex and rubbed/ wiped it down
On the white Kleenex you could really see the black come off then i wiped down the out side, and let it air dry for a day

I use a small can of air as well. Just gentle pressure will move the granules of powder out of the hopper.

I find if you wipe it out before and afetr with a bounce sheet (one that has already been through the dryer) the left over powder is minimal.

I just empty it after every use and it still looks clean to me. I keep it covered with a small plastic garbage bag when not in use and tuck it under so it stays clean.

thanks i am going to try that

i also think some of it was static because it was hard to get alll the powder out of the hopper and the dispenser it was stuck all on the wall of the hopper and in the dispenser and now its all black in dispenser everything was sticking
