How do you concern used pistol warranty?

I am thinking of buying a used pistol from EE. I could save minimum 20% comparing with a new one including tax. However, some brands don't take second ownership warranty as their web sites metioned. HK is one of them. I like to have your opinions or experences if youve ever claimed defects on your used gun as second owner.

Some people said Glock did not care about owership. How about others manufactures?

In Canada, you can hardly get any warranty for your pistol except several brand, Smith and wesson, Ruger, STI will look after you. You can get your STI fix in Canada while most other gun will need you send the gun to the State which is pain in the batt. Anyhow some gun like CZ or Glock, you can buy part to fix by yourself.

Glock limited life time warranty applys only on the original owner. Not transferable. It's a Glock nothing to worry about
