How do you dispose your spilled powder?

I save mine and then use it in the summer to get rid of anthills.

On a nice warm day, when the ants have their main entrances all opened up,
I pour the powder down the holes till no more will go in. Sometimes this is quite a bit of powder.
Then I light it up. The powder will burn up to and into the anthill, often resulting in a very audible
"wuff" underground, as the powder is confined a bit in the galleries. Smoke will show up from holes
all around the main hill, indicating the actual size of the anthill.

Usually destroys the hill completely if enough powder gets underground...probably scorches the queen
when it explodes. Used it effectively many times.

I would be cautious about using this method for any anthill right close to a building, however.

Regards, Dave.

don't do this living on a peat bog though......

Diabolical! I love it! - gonna try it. Pity I wasted so much on "demos" and flower beds in the past ...
