How do you fix a flashlight switch pad to a forend?

LOCKTITE SUPERBONDER an adhesive we used at work. Do not get it on anything you don't want stuck , the only way I know to get it loose is to freeze it.

3M adhesive velcro is all I can think of.

Been a while but this is what our lights came with for the switch.

Never a big fan of the pressure switches, got my ar rigged so off hand thumb works big button on base of light.

seriously look at the Magpul forends (if they make one for your gun). They have the pad adaptors available as well as the light mount.

Make sure you degrease it well before you put it on however you decide, I usually hoppes9 followed up with isopropyl alcohol. Never had any failure to adhere with the grip tape on my m&p9, even with routine cleanings. It wears out before it falls off.

I have Velcro shotshell holders that work very well on the receivers of several shotguns and they are holding a hang of a lot more weight than a pressure switch. I do use the quality Industrial Velcro, not dollar store stuff, and you've got to clean the surface well.

Heating up on barrels might be an issue with the adhesive on Velcro if you're fastening right to or close by them, but I can't afford enough ammo to waste testing that, real world style.
