I'm thinking of trying to build an annealing set up . Some kind of rotating table timed with slow adjustment
And a jig to hold two torches in position . ( bubba copy of a really nice expensive set up )

I use a hand held propane torch and hold the brass inside a deep socket. The put the socket in a cordless drill.

Used some of my brass discards to test for how long in the flame needed (used a Temp-stick). Dumped into a bucket of water after 3-5 seconds IIRC.

Did 1000 cases of 204 Ruger with this setup.

I built my own...simple enough

Nice setup, could you not have used a smaller wheel that loads the brass into the two rollers? There seems to be a few seconds of waiting for the next piece to drop into the rollers. If that time was shortened up you could process more brass per hour.

I'm in the process of building a version similar to these:

Nothing but my time & maybe $80-$100 worth of actual parts to buy.

I like the set up with the socket and drill . Sounds to easy . Where does a guy buy the temp stick

I'm a welder so have an assortment of "Tempilstik" indicators. The brass case is small, and smooth so the "Tempilaq" indicators would be better but I used what was on hand.

Got mine at Acklands but have been doing a lot more eBay and Amazon buys these days so might replace it from there.

I just use a torch and a socket on an extension and slow hand turn. Once i see the indigo/blue colour change running through the case mouth down to the neck, I remove it from the heat. So far it's been working for me.
