How do you lube your cz?

I picked up a shadow the other day and way just wondering how some fellow shooters lubricate them (location /amount). My other pistol (an m&p) is definitely a less is more kinda gun is the cz similar or should a be dipping it in gear oil before heading to the range? :p

A light coat of CLP of your choice is all you need. Hell, I've run mine for a whole season with no lube or cleaning... it's a CZ, she can take it.
 
I've had my CZ for a while now, at least 2000 rounds through it, I started by lubing it generously after each range visit while it wasn't broken in. Now that it is I clean the gun with Ballistol, wipe of the excess and slap the gun back together. Seems to be working for me.
 
I actually use synthetic grease on the rails, synthetic G96 on the outside of the barrel and that is it. Good to go. These guns just work. I am pretty sure that the lube is more for my peace of mind.
 
I've got 500 rounds on my Shawdowline. I clean and lube after each range visit. I lube the slide serrations, the hammer, slide stop, and a little on the outer barrel. And I mean "a little". Very small amount of Lucas gun oil.
 
I clean all my handguns ( including my CZ SP-01) with ballistoll. I just wipe the excess but leave a film on moving parts and put a couple of drops on the slide rails. That works just fine for cleaning, lubricating and protecting. I have used many products but now use only ballistol. Works great :)

I've tried a lot of different things and oil or grease, dripping or dry the gun just keeps on working. The only thing is that when too dry it makes the most horrible clattering like sounds which makes the metal worker/mechanic in me cringe so I oil it so she won't dry cry :D

The ONLY thing with using a grease, if you try it, is don't use too much. If you slather it on like peanut butter it will cause the gun to jam simply due to the viscous drag. It's like holding a thumb on the slide when shooting. So if you do try greases then they need to be applied sparingly with an old tooth brush. If you can see it caking up then it's WAY too much. The grease should look no thicker than an oil film.
 
I clean with Ballistol & wipe dry then LIGHTLY lube with Break-Free CLP. If your gun is dripping with lube, you are using way too much. Works for me for many years. As I side note, the wife hates the smell of Ballistol but I kinda like it.
 
Ordinary white lithium grease, lightly applied to the rails. Only clean it about once a year.

This is what I use for all my guns including my Sp01 shadow. I have shot around 6000 rounds with no issue.
