How do you mount a sling?

Greetings,
I did a few searches but could not find an answer.

I have a Crosman Nitro Venom. I would like to mount sling swivels but because of the hinge at the front, how do you mount the front stud to the stock?

I found this option that attaches a band to the barrel.

Has anyone tried this or some other way?

There are quite a few how to's on Youtube that can give a good indication..

I had the same set up on an HW85.
It worked just fine, i had it mounted very close to the barrel block and the barrel never broke while carrying if thats what your wondering.
