How do you open buttstock compartment on the M305?

I bought an M305 yesterday, and I have no idea how to open it. There is nothing in the manual about it either. Thanks for the help.

Nothing to it. Just use your nail(might be stiff) or screwdriver or similar to push the tab of the plunger(since it is on the left, push it towards the right). It opens like a trap door that swings outward.

I took the spring that holds the latch closed and shortened it a little bit so I don't wreck my fingers every time I open it.

It sure doesn't open too easily. I have to use some object in hand. Can't do it with my fingertip. Same with my AR-15. Tip of a round?

You are supposed to use the nose of a FMJ round.
