Need some advice guys for a colt HBAR

I know the concept on how to remove the muzzle brake, and punch out the roll pins of the gas block.

1) is this something that can be done at home
2) does it take alot of effort to get the gas block loose, spread and off
3) what do you need to install a new one.
4) what about the muzzle brake do they come off

anyone with any advice is more than welcome I appreciate it.

Thanks

1.) Yes, easy to do at home. Make sure you dont have a rifle with a pinned or welded muzzle brake.
2.) Nope, pop the pins out... they come out only ONE way, I just dont remember what way... someone can jump in and tell you.
3.)the new gas block. pins or screws.
4.) you need to take off the muzzle brake to take off the gas block. Yes they come off on most rifles.

it should. just like a normal screw. Dont you need a new crush washer to reinstall it?

I'm waiting for my free float rail, new muzzle brake, and other parts to arrive, so i'll be doing all this research at a later date, next week sometime.
