How do you ship ammo within Canada?

Go to CANPAR website
You can do it yourself - you do not need an account
enter name and pick up address and box dimensions and weight
enter name and delivery address and phone numbers etc
Pay via CC online (by the way, this will cost you a fortune - you would be better off to sell it and buy some more)
Make sure your stuff is well packaged and labelled and try not to make the boxes too heavy
A person will come to your house the next day to pick up the packages
You dont have to say anything except hello and goodbye
I shipped 100 rounds of 308 ammo from Owen Sound to North York and it was $35
If that gives you an idea of cost

Adam, if you have a lot it would prob cost you much more to replace nowadays. Shipping is prob the $$ best option.
I'd tape all the boxes together, then pack into a sturdy cardboard box with good styrofoam packing . Couriers don't go as much by weight or cubic as CanPost does, so cost shouldn't be that bad, even if across coast-2-coast.
And you said "3 ammo boxes", How big and how much ammo? The replacement cost may Not be that great. Especially if you sell like on #######, where you can get a 'current market price'. Then replacement would not be too expensive. (but only if you can find more
) You'll have to weigh that factor in, too.

not sure about Canpar, but some couriers I've dealt with - Loomis for one, require a "1.4S hazardous goods" decal on the outside of the box. It's easy to copy the image from the internet and print and paste on a carton. they may also require MSDS. ( Material Safety Data) sheet. You can download that from ammunition manufacturers website. One more thing is to declare " limited quantity" which avoids much of the red tape and paperwork and Hazmat charges. If you meet those requirements more shippers will take the goods.
