How do you spot a Facog?

I might be buying an Acog sight from someone that I do not know.

There are evidently many good fakes out there so does anyone know how to tell a real Acog from a Facog?

You are already showing doubt, that is a good sign. When doubt, just pass on the deal.

Get pictures, all angles. If the person says they don't have the means to do so, then there is probably something they don't want you to see.

Those only apply to Night Sights Enthalpy, if you read their fully warranty it says their fibre optic scopes w/ tritium are warranted for 15 years, non-fibre optic scopes (TA01 etc.) are 12 years.

I had someone tell me they were selling authentic ACOG's for $185 I didn't even bother looking...... SO fake I don't even have to look at it.
