How do you store handgun`s????

I store my Glock loaded in its holster and my Brugger is kept with a loaded mag but none in the chamber under my pillow. :)

Bastard! :yingyang:

Here, we get to ask politely if the home invader doesn't mind terribly if we unlock, then load our firearms. With their blessing, we then proceed. Of course, once loaded, we request that the invader leave our domicile, in a timely manner. Ideally they agree to.

found these racks, cant remember where but you get the idea..

just keep 2 swords by your bed. when the intruder breaks in, throw him a sword and say "common, fight like man! and please tell your other thuglife friends to wait in the car, it's not fair"

Socrates-thanks for the info, will bookmark them this time, i also use "Rifle Rod" system by wwwstoremoreguns.com for long guns and pistols, just google and check them out...

I have an old fashioned 150 lb fire safe for my handguns. My only problem is, I keep it in an attached garage. It was too heavy to carry into the house, so I figure it's secure enough.

I hope I'm not thread jacking here but this is somewhat relevant here, has anybody every made a cabinet for displaying restricted in with only a trigger lock? The law says to display it has to be trigger/cable locked and more or less tied to something so it can't be taken. Is this still necessary if its locked inside a cabinet?

For a cabinet would a steel tube frame and a sturdy locking door with something like 1/4'' plexi-glass fitted from the inside be sufficient? Or am I opening a can of worms with this idea of mine? The plexi-glass is just a thought as I have some laying around, if there is a better product to use I'm all ears.

You'd think so, but you'd be wrong. 2 guys, with or without a handcart, and it's gone. I work for a large retail chain. The employer had each stores safe bolted down years ago after a couple were stolen. We're talking around the 400 to 500lb range.
