How do you store your .223?

in ammo cans that are in good shape/good seals ect. other than that, in the 20 round cardboard boxes they come in. in stacks ready to use each week end!

Abbynormal had a pretty nice setup, its around here somewhere.
Everything was on stripper clips, with the clips packed in boxes, and the boxes in cans.

If you can't find any ammo cans, check your local Home Depot for some kind of waterproof toolbox.
Dewalt has a nice line of plastic boxes with rubber seals and heavy-duty latches, made to be weather-proof.
I don't have any, but I've always thought they'd be great for ammo storage.

I get really heavy duty ziplock style bags through work. each bag holds about 400 9mm and I can just write all the load data on the bag with a sharpie.

First option are 100rnd ammo boxes, then ammo cans, then tupperware containers and finally ziploc bags.

I had thought of that too but that's way to bulky. Fine for .30-30 or .303 but for a few hundred rounds of .223 that's a lot to carry on top of range bag and rifle case.

Ziploc bag is a good idea, hadn't thought of that. Keep em nice and dry to boot and you could write load info on them.

Found that user and tried searching his posts (is he the welcome commitee?) but couldn't find his post on ammo storage.

@zeuce: This is reloaded ammuntion so no cardboard boxes :(

I re-purpose the 2 1/2 gallon buckets of drywall mix. Has a rubber ring in the top. Rinse them out, let 'em dry, fill 'em up. I'VE never filled one up, but you get the point. And they are often free at job sites.
