How do you store your hunting gear

Heaped in the basement so that I damn near need a plough to find anything.

Similarly, the spare bedroom has a pile of hunting clothes to sort through when needed.

Tomorrow morning for example, I'll go in there and in five minutes be suited up to go duck hunting.

I was kidding, to a degree.

It looks like an unsorted mess (more like a sordid mess my wife says) but actually I use a lot of plastic bins too. One Rubbermaid for my "kitchen" which is a couple one pound propane bottles and a one burner stove, a pot and frying pan. Another bin for dry food, another for winter clothes on cold trips, a frame pack full of meat sheets, a canvas pack full of tarps, rope and a snatch block, a double milk crate with snow chains an jumper cables, a nylon duffle bag of clothes, milk crate with a Coleman lamp and fuel, an axe and a hatchet, a stout cardboard box for chain saw and accessories.

That's the basics. I throw a couple extra wool jackets in behind the seat in the access cab, bring rain gear and extra boots too.

Not a fruck'in clue.
This move has me looking for chit left, right and center.
Huge house and no where to organize stuff in...........yet.
Big bedroom in the basement for a gun/reloading room.
Only problem is, I am programmed to work in a garage.
And this one is full.
Master bedroom could be a likely candidate.

Same here with a label on each. Mine are sorted and labeled by species hunted - moose, deer, turkey, wolves, archery deer. Each has a pack in it with the appropriate calls, knives., Gloves, hats, etc. in it so that it is self contained with the appropriate gear that I can pick them up and be ready to go. Also any specialized clothes, maps, etc. required for hunting that species.

Took years to accumulate and most of my gear purchased at end of season clearance sales.

Yes. This is what my ultimate goal is. So much of my load out depends on what I'm going after.
