How does a guy get into PPC?

A good holster, and at least 3 speed loaders with pouches will get you started. A decent accurate revolver with adjustable sights and light loads is the way to go. You CAN use a pistol, but I wouldn't personally because I've yet to find an auto that will shoot ragged holes like my k-38 
At the local club here, all you have to do is show up on Sunday morning with said revolver and equipment and 100 rounds of ammo.
