How does the Uberti silverboy scout carbine compare to something like the Henry Golden Boy?

If anyone has handled or owned both I'm curious how they stack up in area like smoothness, fit and finish, internals and materials used.

I have both and like both of them.
The Henry is smoother and comes with better sights and holds 1 more round than the Uberti.
Both have alloy receivers, the Henry is easy to repair, the Silverboy apparently not so.
The Silverboy feels better to me.
Both are good rifles, but I would give the nod to the Henry.
I'm not sure how they compare pricewise, they were very close at one time.

Never had a Uberti 22, but I do have a centre fire from them.

I'd agree - the Henry is probably the best value for your money. The fit and finish might be better on the Uberti. I've see some pretty rough looking Henrys, but generally they're nice enough, and if you can buy in person you won't have any surprises. The Henry 22 I have is the octagon/skinner/small game configuration. Love it. It's heavier, but I find that the weight out front makes it much easier to hold on target. On the other hand, I have one of their 410s too, and it functions fine, but looks like it was made in a high school machine shop.
