How does your Norinco shoot?

Now I'm new to precision shooting, but it seems to me that if the guys that shoot IPSC gussy up the Norinco 1911s for competition, then there can't really be much wrong with doing the same to a M305.
It may not be a beautiful rifle, and the pre 2000 ones were awful, but I'm pretty happy with how it shoots. Not like I'm trying to put holes in a head at 1500 meters or anything, just good groups on paper.

Dude, you are still talking about your M305 in the Precision Rifle Forum.

The Main Battle Rifle Forum is this way.
<------------------

They will enjoy the stories about your Norinco that can shoot. Yours does, many don't.
I am typing this as I have recently experienced my Norinco SKS blow up in my face with factory ammo. Literally steel blown up and action twisted and cracked. Lucky I have a face after that.

Hey, not saying your groups isn't very nice, just saying that it would be nicer in the "main battle rifle" forum.
And I've NEVER seen an IPSC shooter use a norico for anything. I'm not sure I could name one that even owns one.
Every Norinco pistol I've shot (same model and caliber) shot differently, none of them very good.
The best think I think i've seen from Norinco is the M 14 but it's still a "battle rifle" (hint)

Good luck with it though.

M.

I like the Norinco M305, and I plan on getting one soon. But it will be a plinker. Thats all. Some people get crazy tricking out these things. They still are plinking rifles, with more recoil than most plinkers.
