How far can I downsizw lead

Can I take a cast lead bullet in .358 and downsize it to a .311 in a lee sizer in one step?

No sir.........not even in two steps.........you would need a "swageing" press to reform lead up or down in those amounts.....big dollars......google "Corbin swageing press " if your interested......

Sorry just had to do that. If you could you would hace to paper patch that bad boy you wouldn't have any grease grooves left.

If the bullet is hard cast you can have trouble with .005" sizing, more than this is not recommended, .047" would tie up your equip. for awhile!

The easiest way is to just buy a Lee .313 mold (they're cheap), melt down some wheelweights and go to it!
