How fussy are Glocks ?

Are Glocks fussy with regard to the factory ammo they use ?
What are some of the best loads to use ?
Does the cheap stuff cycle well ?

Any and all recommendations and advice gladly accepted

They aren't fussy at all. Mine has never had a failure in 2500+ (I don't keep track like I should). I almost exclusively shoot Blazer aluminum cased ammo. (Fairly cheap ammo).

Gen. 3 glock G17fired everything every time from #### home reloads to hot factory.
Thousands of rounds.

Not fussy at all. I probably have around 5000 thru between couple of Glocks and I've only seen one malfunction with a new pistol. What caliber are we talking here?

I have used absolute junk steel case and some very fine ammo with zero issues in my gen 3 G17. Clean the extractor when your can after using low quality ammo as it can cause a carbon buildup and issues

Barnaul,mfs,tula and wolf all used glock casts from the chamber tomake their ammo so gou can shoot tbe cheapest ammo arou d and its been custom made for glocks.

As stated, they'll shoot anything... Only exception can sometimes be if you #### with them and install 3.5 pound triggers. Then you MAY have trouble with really hard surplus primers (I have some old Pakistani SMG ammo that only goes most of the time).

Only provisio is don't shoot unjacketed lead through them... Polygonal barrels don't like that!

Never had the gun fail, only had Barnaul lacquered steel case 115gr stuff fail to fire/eject.

My gen3 G17 has not encountered any fussy ammo...just a few fussy shooters.

My g41 doesn't really care for my cast SWC bullets. But then again neither does my 1911.

...those were a waste of time and effort. Back to RN for me.

I did buy plated bullets to load for it, but I've noted absolutely no leading thus far regardless.

Actually it's not the Trigger upgrade that can possibly cause issues, it's messing with the firing pin spring (though some do mess with it to attempt to improve the trigger) that may cause light strikes.

any gun can be fuzzy when you start putting aftermarket sh!t in them, particularly springs.
Mine is stock and it shoots anything. I am pretty happy with it!
I have a glock problem now and own a few in .40 too. lol

Not at all. No issues in close to 5000 rounds of various brass cased ammo.
