All depends on vintage w/ Federal brass in any caliber.
80's-90's vintage rifle brass will need to be annealed after a few reloads.
80's-90's vintage pistol brass will be running to this day.
Any F.C.-Federal/ATK brass is JUNK prior to shooting it.
IF,you are buying FedCart ammo,look at the back of the box for ATK & then look at the caliber stamping & case head for flatness & NOT being cupped(ATK)
ATK was run out of Lake City Army Ammo Plant.....for a reason!
