How high would you bid on a late war CYQ P-38 bringback in excellent condition?

You guys must be blind. Literally 6 nice cyq have sold on the EE this year for below RC pricing. Like $500-650. No tax!!
I know cause I watch and friends watch. A bring back on the EE usually brings less then what you would have paid but by $100 at least.
Buying an RC from a dealer is a waste.
Paying $710 plus tax and auction fees is a waste.

Watch the EE. There have also been a few good byf and several nice walthers. They are common here.

Hence why I asked for valuation here before I made a bid ;)

Ended up making a deal on the side for a fair price.

EE prices can be all over the map. Some things I watch closely to get an idea. But, like most people, I just don't have the time to be constantly checking the EE for the running prices of all the various vintage guns I'm interested in.

Honestly I consider the price of them to be high, driven up not by actual demand rather people going and saying hey these RCs are selling for 700$ (well very slowly) why is it my Bring back is 400$? What I consider a fair price range for a all matching with a magazine would be about 450-550$. If you had the holster and two magazines I would go as high as 800$. This is just my opinion what I consider fair pricing of one to be.

Its the same situation as the RC K98ks, if someone was to try to sell a RC K98k on the EE for 750$ it would be bumped for a very long time just because the actual value isn't 750$ to most people. If a store prices it at 700$ for some reason it ends up selling however.

I think Eaglelord is dead on.

The RC pistols are overpriced and that's why they have been in stock for a long long time. A store also has overhead and shipping from russia to here. I get it. A bring back got free freight and no overhead. Haha.

I'm glad the OP found a pistol from someone here.

I think some of us are stuck on prices from a couple years back . but the RC stuff is definitely way over priced .
but then most vet bring backs are not . there 50s,60s,70s, imports. the 80s is when the junk started coming in.
