How I Manually Install Choke Tubes On Older Shotguns

I'm only getting this knowledge from the vast amout on free legal advice offered on CGN.
But is it not illegal to cut back the barrel of a gun, even though the finished length remains a legal size?

I have used pipe cutters on plain barrels only. Do not cut all the way through the pipe cutter will leave an inward flange. I use the pipe cutter for about 4 turns to leave a very good mark for a NEW hacksaw blade to follow.

It is illegal to possess a shotgun barrel that has been cut to less than 18.5 inches. It is perfectly legal to possess a shotgun barrel that has been manufactured to a length of less than 18.5 inches. See the difference? So as long as you cut the barrel to more than 18.5 inches you'll be fine.

As far as I know, you're not supposed to cut a gun barrel, at all.

That's wrong, the only problem is the final length of the barrel and the overall length of the gun must meet minimums. But the act of shortening a barrel in and of itself is not illegal.
