How I spent my Tax return....

I'm not terribly sure if that's a "standard" or "Loaded".......

I was a bit hesitant about ordering one what with all the problems I have been hearing whispers about on the board, but I called up the fine folks at Prophet River and they assured me that they would be handling any warranty claims that may creep up.

I know enough about the platform (by no means an expert) to give it a good going over; so with that assurance from PR, I ponied up my CC...... This was yesterday at lunch. The rifle arrived at my doorstep @ 4pm today!

All in all I am very impressed. fit and finish is much better than on any of my Norks. Barrel was indexed perfectly, NM front and rear irons. It had the "ping" right outta the box!

I did have to shim the gas system as it was finger tight at 7:30, but it was a very simple process as the flash hider wasn't welded on!

Well it's time to hit the hay, the new M1A is fully prepped tested and gone over in every detail, ready for a range trip on the weekend!

No it's not. Try ~1 moa. And if you have a pic, make sure it's a 5 shot group, because 3 doesn't count.

BTW, congrats on the nice rifle. You couldn't have spent your tax return on anything better.
