My buddy has a model 41 and it has a great trigger. I realize that the model 41 is a more expensive gun than the model 22A-1, but how does it stand up. Who has one and is it worth getting for a plinking gun, how is the trigger, light and crisp?

My 22A is quite accurate for a plinker. Don't have a 41 but the 22A is certainly not in the same class as the 41. There's a $500 difference is the used price though.
The 22A's trigger is it's major drawback. Mine's around 4 lbs. & lots of creep. They can be reworked to make them reasonable but I haven't bothered to try that yet.
I prefer to shoot my Margolin. Feels good in the hand. Smooth, crisp trigger that breaks at less than 2 lbs.
