How light of a .308 bullet can you go before you start losing accuracy?

^^^^what chambering?

It's a Savage based rifle in .308 Win.

Just to add to the conversation. I'm shooting Hornady 90gr. XTP's out of a .300 Blackout with a 1:8" twist barrel at subsonic velocities. 5-shot groups average less than 1.5" @ 100 yds. Some fine tuning of the load may improve groups slightly.

My point being, I think some of you are over thinking the twist rate thing. As it has already been said, you never know what bullet will be accurate in your rifle until you try. With the smaller bullets I think the velocity they are shot at has far more influence on accuracy than twist rate does, providing that the bullet is stable to begin with.
