How long can I expect to wait?

Before everyone jumps on me for having the audacity to expect prompt service I did read the disclaimer on the CanAm site and knew to expect delays when I placed my order. I have no issues with a bit of extra waiting, especially when I'm told about it before I even place the order.

In reading some posts on here it seems exactly how much of a delay can vary widely and I'm just wondering approximately how long I'll be waiting for an order of a non-restricted to be processed. I ordered it as a gift so if it takes longer than 5-10 business days I'll have to give my buddy a picture of a shotgun for his house warming gift.
 
Abandon all hope!!!! lol.

It took my latest order 11 actual days to get shipped from the day I placed the order. I've always had faster service from Canam, usually 4 to 5 days before shipping, but I appreciate the good prices/free shipping so I don't mind the wait times.

Perhaps stress to them that its a time sensitive gift, it might help, just give them a call. All the best.
 
I'm past 2 weeks waiting for my order to be shipped. The CFC transfer was completed days ago and still no shipment... All my previous orders were extremely quick and well done so must be busy. Everyone is in a gun buying frenzy!
 
Got my order for mags from the 21st of jan yesterday.
Not complaining just trying to help op with his timeframe
 
I placed my order Jan 28, paid for it on the 29th... Processed Feb 6th hit my door step via canpar Feb 8th. Thanks boys, I'll spend my Friday night cleaning and tricking out the new 8.5 grizz. Canam has never let me down. They are busy because of customer service, free shipping over $100 (soon to go up to $200), and great prices.
 
My order took over three weeks to arrive, but it is worth the wait. No reason to get upset if they are absolutely swamped with orders, which means they are doing something right to warrant that amount of business.
 
There's no free shipping its built into the price....i bought 1000 rnds of AE 9mm 124 grain from them for $319, and a week later i found the exact same locally at a few shops for $279, nothings free... needless to say i picked up another 1000 rnds at a better price and didn't have to wait 3 weeks. shop around there's deals to be had .
 
Their prices are great and even if they factor the shipping in the price it still is a good deal and good people to deal with .

There prices are great? i drove 5 min to save $40, don't get me wrong but i have delt with them and there service is like other retailers but its nothing special, and when i say that its not a knock... i have bought from them in the past and will probably do so in the future. But there service is what i expect from every one else. There online presance is one thing, but if you have to call in its a whole different ball game, again no disrespect, but that's just how a 95% internet business works.

OK just got a big box from CANPAR...Was expecting 440 rounds of 7.62X54 and with that I got a FREE new edition of an all canadian magazine, a FREE pack of targets, a FREE ammo can 50cal (Wich is by the way absolutely heavy duty) with FREE shipping and at a price that can't be beaten.

Worth the wait. Thank again Canam!
 
Depends on what you buy - since I mostly buy restricted my expectation is that once the transfer (I'm in Ontario the longest I have waited it about 3 business days) is completed and my CC charged, the item should be in my hands 1-2 weeks max.

That has been my experience with two other vendors/ sponsors (needless to say it would not be cool to id them in another sponsors space so I won't).

IMHO whether the vendor is busy or not should not be a factor/ increase shipping time.

CanAm, any chance of getting an update with regard to where you are with processing orders. I placed an order Feb 1st. We all know that you guys are beyond busy. An update might help to relieve some anxiety. Thanks
