How long did it take to get your PAL/RPAL?

I sent off for my PAL/RPAL over 2 months ago and have not heard anything back. Only one of my two "sponsor" people have been contacted.

I was wondering if this was typical?

Is there anywhere I can call to check the status of my application?

I called and checked up on mine had my rpal in a month after they said they recieved it! I would call and ask them for an update it seems to expediate the process!

Just google canadian firearms centre and you will get the number!

Calling the 1-800 number may help. If they tell you that they have passed it on to your BC CFO, then also call them.

Renewed my POL in 21 days. I think it helps to send it express post. at least you can track it.

mine took 3 months to process, I live in Quebec. Once my references were checked, it took a couple of days to print. I forgot to add the fact that my envellope wasn't even opened by the RCMP 3 weeks after they received it.

48 days, that includes postage x2. Forgot to put sticker on back of my picture lol

Christ, mine took 6 months! I sent out paperwork Mid Nov 2009 and just received my PAL recently.

I live in southern Ontario, took me about 2 and a half months wait total, but felt like a lifetime haha
