How long did you wait for warranty service from Stoeger Canada?

awww boo hoo for you.

nope dont work for stoeger but know them well. great guys and customer service ( and i can garentee that no one at stoeger has that attitude towards there customers.) there's a reason they dont do retail sales because of on online tuff guys like you who complain about wait time.

how many gun owners are there in canada? how many of them own products that were supplied by stoeger and your supprised that there is a long wait for warrenty.

cry me a river.. build a bridge and get over it.
It's clear you are so deep down into Stoeger's pockets you hang out with the lint.

Just out of curiosity are you in the front pocket so you can lick their balls or their back pocket so you can kiss their ass?

Well, all of Canada according to you. :) ... and according to you, "they don't do retail sales."

Gee, for one that's only had his firearms licence since May08, you sure know an awful lot about stooger warranty et al.

With a whole 27 posts and ZERO trades sure does make you an authority around here. Apparantly enough so to insult some of the finest contributors and sportsmen among us.

Stooger can eat my rusty ass.

My Beretta CX4 is with them since June - almost 6 months. They were 'waiting for a part' and now I don't know what they are waiting for, because they don't talk to me.

Which part was it that broke on you? Was it the mag catch, or the buffer? Just thought I'd let you know there are options.

On mine, both went at different times. My CX4 is one of the early models that had the dual mag catch slot. One for using the 92FS mags and the other for Cougar mags. So the slot in the mag catch wore loose and would drop the magazine often. That was the first time I ordered a part from Stoeger. $18 part, under warranty, but I'm even willing to pay for it for their trouble. Taking so bloddy long I ended up fixing it myself with epoxy. Never did get the new mag catch from Stoerger.

Months later, dissassembling the gun, I neglected to #### the trigger (stupid Beretta design) so the buffer goes for a ####.
OK, to Stoeger we go again. Excuse after excuse, months go by, I can't play with my gun.

Through Brignoli in Italy, I received not only the part I needed, but a completely redesigned buffer, mainspring guide, recoil spring and main spring guide stop all rolled into one part as one unit. Total wait time .... 14 days. Total cost to me .... 40$ and change including postage.
Now, I think you can get this part from BUSA. I have a part number if you need it.

I'm still waiting for the mag catch, still no word from Stoeger. Like I'm going to call them back ...hah.

The first time I dealt with Stoeger was a disaster over a set of Glocks. I won't go down that road today though.

PS there's also a modification you can do to the mag catch spring so it doesn't drop mags on you even with an intact magazine catch. That's the other design flaw, the mag catch spring. A small bend in the spring is the fix.

What exactly makes them great?
What exactly makes their customer service great?
What makes you think I did not try to contact them countless times?

I know them too now. My knowledge is just different from yours, it says 'don't buy Stoeger, Beretta and Benelli'.

Which part was it that broke on you?
I don't know and don't want to know - new out of the box she FTF 3-4 rounds out of 10 if trigger jerked and 7-8 rounds out of 10 if trigger squeezed slowly.
This gun is getting repaired under warranty or not getting repaired at all and I'll make big stench to the world about that.
Guess, Beretta will not be all too willing to see this info plastered across the world as they position this product as 'law enforcement and personal defense'.

I now avoid Stoeger like the plague, had nothing but hit & miss experience‘s with them over the last couple of years. AFAIAC they should not be in business. Been waiting 6 months for a common Beretta part that I just ordered over seas and received in three weeks for half the price. Stoeger can go to hell.

wow you must be the king of world to think that the factory is going to go out of its way to ship a couple of screws when they can just toss them in the next shipment. and considering stoeger supplies all of canada stock goes rather quickly.

No king of the world here, but a reputable business like Steoger should have basic parts in stock. And if by any chance they don't (any thing is possible), all it takes is an email to Italy and Eur10 DHL package will be here in less than 3 days. I don't mind paying a bit more to have what I want in a timely fashion. But my request wasn't a big money maker so they toss it away. The other fellows here with bigger repairs are complaining about timing too. Not good at all, right? If they want customers happy they should be pro active.

I decided that if I have an issue with any of my European firearms in the future, I’ll ship them to Europe at a repair outfit to deal with the issues. It is quicker, cheaper and they love North American business. I just have to do some extra paper work regarding temp export, etc. No big deal to me.

I had a stainless steel handgun that had such a defective barrel it shot 10" groups at 10 yards. I sent it back to steoger through the company I bought it from and 10 months later they quit taking my calls. I went back to the store and asked does it usually take 10 months to change a barrel, answer no, I asked whats my recourse, they answered do you want your money back, my answer YES!
It is very doubtful I will ever own another Beretta handgun!!

Best thing to come out of this is I heard about STI and bought one :dancingbanana:.
