how long does it take to be notified of a transfer completion

I have just done my first transfer not through a gun shop today and was wondering how long it takes for me to be notified and how I will be notified of the transfer and when I will get the new registration number, this in for a non restricted

Well, in Bantario I hear it takes a loooooong time for your CFO to complete the process.

Here in Alberta, when ever I do a transfer on the phone, I always ask that they email me a copy as well as snail mail a copy. I typically get the email (which I can print out and use until the real one comes) within a matter of half an hour or so.

Neal waiting time for a restricted trsf from a store in Ont. is about 12-14 days right now.

just went thru it myself.
 
I'm wondering how long this takes in B.C. myself as I've been waiting about 10 days for my first restricted purchase transfer to be approved...
