How long for a transfer?

are you buying from a dealer or private? when I bought a pistol from chilliwack dart and tackle the whole process took about 6 buisness days only because I had to get my LTATT first. If I already had that it would have been two days. Privately takes longer, you have to do the transfer they have to get a short term att and mail it.
oh and that was in march so I don't know if anything changed in normal wait times since

My experience is that the CFC runs 3-5 days, and the Ontario CFO runs 4-8 weeks...or they did on my two most recent transfers in July.
depends on the province it can take a couple days or a couple weeks for the transfer and the same for the short term att.. as for short term att I was isued one the next day they e-mailed it to me and said I was good to go. I'm curently doing a transer from a guy in alberta and he said his statt usauly takes 4-5 busness days.. It seems the ferther east you go the longer it takes. Ontario seems to be the worst

depends on the individual CPFO..... the dealer can't ship until the transfer is approved....
Last one I did thru a dealer here in BC I had it in less than 24 hours...

I had a Transfer get aproved over night this last week. That one involved a Gun shop, and I had a private deal take 7-10 days about 3 weeks ago. So I think it just depens on when your last transfer tool place and wheather it is a private deal or not.
