How long is the magazine box in a short action Stevens 200?

Anyone out there have a Stevens 200 in 243, 7-08 or 308?

I would like to know how long the magzine box is. Thinking of using one for a project.

My Stevens 200 in 223 shoots Nosler 40 gr Ballistic Tip handloads about the same as those 40 VMax factory loads, right on half an inch.

That's fabulous for factory ammo! Where did you buy it?

I have two, a 223 and a 300 Win Mag. I am wanting to know the mag length on a 243, 7-08 or 308 magazine.

The 223 magazine is shortened.

Thinking of two rechambering jobs: a 243 into a 6mm Ackley Imp and a 7mm-08 into a 7X57 Ackley.

The mag will be a tad short for the 7mm job, but will still work. The 243 will be fine for the 6mmAI.

I am going to be in Wholesale Sports in Edmonton tomorrow. Anyone know if they have a 243 and/or a 7mm-08 in stock?

I checked p and d and they seem to be sold out of those calibers too,they do have an -06 300 and 7mm and I saw a 223 and a 22-250 for 369.00$ http://www.p-d-ent.com
