How long should I make my fake suppressor?

Well its finally done! Not 100% happy with the overall length, its about 1/2" long. Muzzle is not flush like i wanted it to be. But after 2 others failed for various reasons this one is just fine!!!

That extra bit of length will serve to protect the muzzle, like a deep muzzle crown. Much better than a flush fit, IMHO. Once this is painted, I think it will look great! I was in agreement with the naysayers here until I saw the picture...now I think I want one for mine!

It would look neat with a brake of the same diameter. Screw the brake on to jam the fake suppressor.

My one fear is that ill hear it ring with every shot as it is just thin wall aluminum & only supported at the muzzle. Not that it matters it will just bug me if it does.
Its getting HK semi gloss duracoat as is the complete barrel and my SKS. That is once spring rolls around and i can spray some place not in side my house. That stuff stinks!!!
