How low can you go? M14 question

Hope someone can save me the trial and error :)

With the Smith Ent. weaver mount and say a 40mm scope what are the lowest burris Zee rings I can use? Ideally without obstructing the irons.

Many thanks Shark & GG&FB. I'll play it safe and go with Burris Medium height.
The Smith rings are sweet I'm sure, a little too pricey :(
