How many 10/10 mags would you buy?

Before anyone gets ahead of themselves , they might want to contact the RCMP before hand , i remember the last time someone got this bright idea for AIA magazines

I've been pretty specific about stating that I only want these for my AIA bolt action, and would assume that everyone else on here just really wants more mags for their BOLTACTION RIFFLES too

It might be worth while for everyone to double check their posts to ensure we're all on the same page. It's nice having some consistency if anyone else is watching...call me paranoid...

Of course you want these only for your AIA rifle.

So do all the other folks wanting lots of these magazines.

The M-14 issue isn't a factor at all in the demand for these bolt action rifle magazines.

If they absolutely didn't fit M-14s, the demand would still be there.

Surely the powers that be understand this.

Why then did the FIT'S AIA 7.62MM BOLTACTION RIFFLE project flounder?

Maybe too much wink, wink, nudge, nudge?

Once again, anyone undertaking this project with knowing if it will fly is taking a real risk.

Without question. It's too bad AIA went belly up in the first place. The finish on their M10 No. 4's is really nice, with a chrome lined barrel to boot :D

I would've already bought the rifle if it came with more than 1 mag. If they bring in mags I'll take 10 and buy the rifle from someone.

Make up a batch. Ensure they are stamped like LAR or XCR pistol mags with something like...

"AIA ENFIELD BOLT ACTION MAGAZINE .308 ## ROUND CAPACITY"

It ain't rocket science. The LAR and XCR pistol mags have this. Do the same for the bolt action mags and it will be the same deal. And the mag will be labelled as such so there will be some evidence to support it NOT being an M14 mag. There have been enough threads on that subject and the differences between the two.

^ I agree. I didn't start the thread to discuss legal ramifications and "Do's and Don'ts" of product manufacturing. I've heard there is a Canadian manufacturer or two that is possibly entertaining the idea of producing these, so I'd like to see if there is enough interest out there to support a new mfg AIA mag.

*Edit: to those who have brought up the concerns around this idea, it is definitely appreciated :D

The LAR magazines received approval prior to being marketed. The ruling was not universally supported at Mountie Headquarters.

Perhaps it would be worth contacting the principals involved in the FIT'S RIFFLE scheme, and find out why it went off the rails.
If they would tell you.

I don't have any markings on my mags, they just don't have the little square hole on the front of the mag. I wouldn't screw around with 20/20 mags, that is just asking for trouble.
I don't see why 75$ is too much for these hard to find mags. I would buy a couple of more for sure.
