I never buy what the general population is into. It seems like it's the rimfire eqivalent of the 870 rem. It's the "Lego" gun. It can do just about anything by adding parts at a small cost, and you can bolt up just about anything to it at the same time.
It really is a good deal and a decent gun.

(Analogy)
I just don't like those "affordable" town houses that everyone lives in that are all built the same that everyone paints differently and parks different cars out front of that make it "unique".

I pay a premium to be different and have what i like.
 
About 6, I can't remember exactly... Currently have 2, one "hot rod", and one "HOT BUBBLE GUM PINK"... No, no, I'm not kidding... It's NOT mine, it's my wifes, I SWEAR!!!

4 as each krinker plinker variant. one as a 10/17 and one set up with a fast twist barrel to shoot the sniper subsonic.. I have many bricks of those.. and if the long gun registry goes, most likely another 4 two for 2 each of my 2 girls..
 
i "got lucky" a few years back and got one already tricked with a folding stock, 2-25 round hot lips mags and a 3x7 power cheapie rimfire scope on it- you don't really nned anything else on there for under 50 yards- the other one is a dead stock i got over at c/t that i haven't figured out what to do with yet- i'm leaning towards a target package, but my nylon 66 does gophers in so well it's hard to justify the expense
 
I have had so many its hard to give an exact number. I always seem to be buying another one to turn into whatever sort of setup I have in mind. Near as I can tell, I can only remember 8. But I have a Charger too. So.... Who knows. I can not think of another gun like this.
 
Just bought my first 10-22 last saturday. Its the black synthetic and stainless model. I love it so far, and I'm hoping to use it to hunt rabbit or hare before my bird/small game licence runs out in March.
 
Two. One for me & one for my son to shoot when we go out.

Would add a third.... heavy barrel 10/22 at some point down the road.
