How many AR's Can i buy at once before i get flagged?

If the Liberals win this election it won't matter because you won't be able to keep them anyways. I hope for our sake, Canadians make the right choice on the 21st of October.

After that guy in Toronto about 10-15 years ago purchased 30+ pistols and then sold them to his criminal friends (straw purchases) in less than a year. You will be 'flagged' if you purchase more than 15 restricted in a 12 month period. Usually this results in a fishing phone call from the CFO. It's happened to me and a few people I know.

I acquired well over 15 restricted firearms within my first year of firearm ownership. Have never been contacted by anyone.

All of this ignores the fact that straw purchasers, the actual few out there, are connected to the criminal world. They are dependent on drugs, or owe money, or are 'clean' associates who buy guns for the gangs. It isn't the sport shooter or collector. Why do some of you accept Blairism as truth?

Too bad his PAL has expired...

How did his license expire 14 years before the first PALs were issued. Maybe Mike is storing all of his guns in the past...

For all of the people posting contradictory experiences, we should take note that each province has its own CFO, and they all have different policies, and those policies change over time, and may not even be applied consistently.

At the end of the day its a total crap shoot. Nothing in law requires anything at all to be done based on the frequency or quantity of restricted transfers. Straw Purchasing is not a criminal offence in Canada. Obtaining a license with the intent to traffic is not a criminal offence either. Neither is Possession of a revoked or stolen or fraudulently obtained PAL. IF the government wants to get serious about straw purchasing, they can start there.

Until then who gets flagged for what will be a total crap shoot.

Looking to buy 5-10 ar lowers for future projects,
Am I gonna get flagged/questioned if I 10 at once?

anybody ever make a bulk purchase?
John

Well, id happened just like you all said it would.
After buying a 5-pack if lowers from IRG, I got a phone call yesterday from a nice lady at the CFO, who just asked what my plans were with 5 of the same AR Receiver , and how I would be storing them.
after answering her questions, she approved the transfer and cheerfully thanked me for my time.

Ive bought and sold hundreds of restricteds over the past 25 years, sometimes 5-10 or more at the same time (auctions/ estate sale) and never ever got a call .

that brings my AR count to 7! Faak the Liberals!
