More interesting questions would be What is the financial investment that you have in black rifles? What do you think you will get back? How much money have you got tied up that you can no longer access and to a certain point of view you are being held to ransom waiting for the government to get its act together?
I am certainly north of $10k. I wonder if the average voter would be happy with this situation if it involved some other property such as a car that you can no longer drive because it can go faster than the posted speed limits.
I figured that would be the case, and am trying to get away from that. We shouldn't be fearful of what we legally own.
Zero!
*Side note, RCMP is known to lurk in these forums
I have a whole bunch of "Black (and Green and Brown) Firearms" in a variety of configurations and calibres ranging from .22LR to .223, and .300 Blk to .308. I have enough Restricted and Prohibited firearms to give Poly, CCGC. the Drs and Danforths absolute, full-on, frothing at the mouth fits! During my 40 years of ownership, none of my "Black Guns" has ever left my positive control and jumped up to kill a random stranger or a loved one. Not a single one! So, "Assault" firearms my arse - mine have never "assaulted" anyone despite weekly trips to the local firing range where the Restricted ones frolic free of their Trigger Locks!
Evidently, my "Black Guns" are NOT the problem!!
Feast your eyes, Poly!!

Tha majority are 12(x) and are not part of the latest OIC as they were prohibited in the early 1990s. Unike the new Prohibs, the 12(x) firearms can still be bought and sold amongst holders of the relevant license endorsement, and are not (so far as I know) subject to the current "buy back" program. Depending on when I die and if there is an active market, they will either go to auction or be deactivated and sold as wall-hangers by my survivors for funds accruing to the estate.
