Just doesn't appeal to me ....... either shooting it, or collecting it......

However, that's the beauty of this hobby. To each his own and I really do like looking at the pics and hearing the stories about these rifles that my fellow CGN members own and shoot....

Well I just sold mine, but to another Canadian. I'll pick up another in the future when I can afford it, as everyone needs a proper combat rifle.

It's mine now! I'm so stoked about it.

I used to own an SKS-D, but got bored of it after a while and sold it.

Now I'm thinking about going for it's better, bigger brother, the VZ-58.

It all started with one! After shooting my other rifles at a buck a shot, I realized the sks offers something the other rifles don't, good cheap target fun. The family has stalled at 5

Sold those two and kept the Chinese surplus and a "D". Both have become safe-queens, due to other - more interesting - firearms, which is a shame since I have around 3000 rounds of non-corrosive 7.62X39 tucked away

I've got a Norinco. Fun gun! I can hit stuff with open sights. I like mine stock - ugly as hell, the way it should be. Cheap Czech ammo on stripper clips from either Wolverine or Canada Ammo. You can't beat 'em for (inaccurate) plinking. Extremely reliable and easy to strip down.

I've heard a few people complain about reliability and how "hard" they are to take apart. I don't get it. Fill me in, Hitzy!
