How many deer did you see during this seasons hunt?

Well for me it was an ok season. Went out twice, 1st time in sept. Archery only season saw a doe and three fawns. Second time I went out Nov. 27th saw one two spike after siting on a stump for 20 min. That was the end of my hunting this year, damn work!

Saw at least 150 (Dryden area) all on private land where you couldn’t get permission :( because either they didn’t believe in hunting ( which is cool) or hunting rights to the land had been leased to outfitters charging big US bucks to out of area hunters:mad: .

Did eventually see one doe on available land. It now resides in my freezer:D
 
Four days out ............. No deer sighted :eek:


I hate big game hunting in NB! Better off working than taking the time off :mad:

Wow, I am really hunting in the wrong areas. Too much darn private land in Onterrible!!! I'm lucky to see 1 a day in northern ontario where I hunt (near the Sault). I only saw 3 this year and one moose.
 
three days hunting and saw 25 moose in the two hours i was Unting Im . Then stopped looking for moose. Just after i shot bulwinkle I look to my left and about fifty yards away ther are two mulie bucks. Frig can not shoot them till the thursday friday saterday hunt. Seen about a hundred deer everyday hunting in eastern alberta. Half whities and half mulies half bucks and half does. Filled all my tags in three days

Grrrr. How is this any better than the Natives/Raincoast aquisition in BC? Crown Land BELONGS TO ALL CANADIANS.
 
We saw 4 deer ( 2 doe's, 2 bucks) and 1 moose in a total of 6 hunting days(3 weekends) We managed to keep the two bucks. One on the 1st weekend and one on the last weekend.
 
Something like a dozen or so. We saw a few of the does on more than one occasion. My partners only saw 3 bucks...I did not see a single rack :mad:
 
saw between 200-250 whitetails in the 4 days I hunted for them. Saw another 150-200 mulies in the 2 days I hunted for them. And we saw 7 moose in 1 day hunted for them. All in Sask
 
I saw hundreds of deer during the total season ....but they were the same 25 to 30 deer(at start of season), tapering down to the same 7 to 10 deer (at the end of season) over and over .
I saw a total of, maybe, 50 to 60 different deer during the hunting season(on huntable land) . Not including deer on land that I couldn't hunt...ie...posted land , town-limits ... highway roadsides...etc.
Lots of roadkilled deer around Dryden .
Never did see MR. Big .

Well over 100 deer.

Wolves hit the field in Nov and it ruined my hunts. BUT I had a hell of a good season.

I was only after a trophy and a some time in the bush.
 
Wow, I know its an old thread but I think I need to move out west! I saw about 35 or so, but most likley the same 5 or 6 over and over. Got one big one tho...First and last time I saw him:D
